The future of Kevin De Bruyne is yet to be decided.
The Belgian will bring his illustrious 10-year career with Man City to an end this summer after the Manchester club failed to offer De Bruyne a new deal, with the 33-year-old yet to make a decision on where he will write the next chapter in his career.
De Bruyne hopes to have an answer by the end of May as the Man City star needs to make a decision before the FIFA Club World Cup.
Chicago Fire looks like De Bruyne’s next club, however, Sky Sports pundit Jamie O’ Hara has now made the suggestion that Arsenal should move for the 33-year-old, which Arsenal fans do not seem to be onboard with.

Mikel Arteta told to sign Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne
With De Bruyne’s future yet to be decided, O’Hara was speaking on Sky Sports News when he stated that Mikel Arteta should call the Belgian to convince him to move to Arsenal this summer, as the Gunners will give the midfielder the chance to continue competing at the highest level.
“Mikel Arteta knows him, should get straight on the phone and say ‘come and sign for Arsenal, we’ll win the league with you. I’m going to sign a striker, I’m going to have you in midfield. We’ll sort it out between you and Odegaard’,” O Hara said.
“They’ve got Champions League football. I would be straight on the phone, give him whatever he wants because he is a winner, he knows how to win, and he is still a top player.”
De Bruyne left the door open to remain in the Premier League last month, which led to Aston Villa showing interest in the Man City star.
Arteta worked with the Belgian for three years at Manchester City and although the transfer may interest the Spanish coach, Arsenal fans are not keen on the idea.

Arsenal fans do not want Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne

Reacting to O’Hara’s suggestion that Arsenal should sign De Bruyne, fans of the Gunners seem to have a big concern around the Belgian’s age, while the Man City legend’s recent injury history is also an issue.
One Arsenal fan wrote on YouTube: “Arsenal is not a senior day care center. We don’t need leftovers!”
“De Bruyne can no longer press as Odegaard does because of his age and injuries,” another Gunners supporter wrote. “Jorginho and Sterling can’t perform as they used to in their primes, so De Bruyne would likely have a similar problem.”
Writing on TikTok, another Arsenal fan responded to O’Hara’s comments by simply saying: “He’s finished!”
While a second Gunners supporter wrote: “Really…. He is injury-prone and in his mid-30s.”
De Bruyne would have been an incredible signing for Arsenal in the past and although most fans in the Premier League have huge respect for the Belgian, they would not take the 33-year-old at their club next season.
