Raging Pep Guardiola calls out Man City board in shock rant after Tottenham win

Pep Guardiola has called out the Man City board in a heated string of answers in his post-match responses after his side beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium.

A glimpse at everything the Spaniard boss has said is enough to tell that he is clearly dissatisfied with things at City currently.

In the 2022/2023 season, the levels at the club have taken a turn for the worst and for a perfectionist such as the Catalan boss, that is off limits.

Guardiola has even slated the players for their lack of hunger and drive to succeed once again, after dominating English football since his arrival in 2016.

However, rather surprisingly, Pep Guardiola has also taken a swipe at the board after his side beat Tottenham Hotspur.

Over the years, it remains well-known that the 52-year-old and the likes of club officials like Txiki Begiristain and Ferran Soriano have shared a tight-knit bond, that stems from their time working together at Barcelona.

At the Etihad Stadium, this association has bored fruit as well, with plenty of smart signings being made the club that separates them from the rest.

However, it seems as if Guardiola is currently unhappy with how things are being run upstairs.

After Man City beat Tottenham Hotspur in dramatic fashion, Pep Guardiola uncharacteristically called out the club’s board.

“I want a reaction from the whole organisation, not just the players. No happy flowers. I want to beat Arsenal. But if we play in that way Arsenal will beat us. I want to see my team”, he said, as quoted by journalist Michael Plant of Manchester World UK.

Well, Pep Guardiola clearly wants Man City as a whole, including the board to continue their unwavering success, as he clearly stated after his side beat Tottenham.

It seems as if Guardiola is set to make a habit of being candid in post-match interviews, as he recently blasted his team ahead of the Manchester Derby as well.
