Some Manchester City fans have been left stunned after footage of Erling Haaland emerged.

The 20-second video was posted by Manchester City on TikTok.

So, what are the Manchester City fans saying about Erling Haaland? Let’s take a look…

Manchester City fans left stunned by Erling Haaland footage

Well, the Manchester City fans cannot believe how the Norway international sounds after just one season in England, as he jokingly told Bernardo Silva to keep his hands off the UEFA Champions League trophy while the players sat down for a photoshoot.

Haaland said: “Bernardo can’t have it. Bernardo, Bernardo, that’s not for you.”

Of course, Haaland has been known to jokingly put on a British accent in his media work with Manchester City so far, although in this instance, it is truly hard to tell given how natural it sounds.

The 23-year-old was born in Leeds, but moved to Norway at the age of three, so there wasn’t enough time for him to naturally pick up a British accent.

In previous interviews during the Manchester City No.9’s time at RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund, there is a clear foreign twang in his voice, although that is seemingly no more.

One Manchester City fan simply said it was “mad” to hear how Haaland speaks nowadays, while another exclaimed that the Norwegian sounds more English than Harry Kane.

There was also a funny moment involving Silva and Pep Guardiola.

The Portugal international grabbed the UEFA Champions League trophy and placed it in front of him as he sat down for the 2023/24 squad photo.

However – in a show of authority – Guardiola then grabbed the iconic piece of silverware from his No.20 as he sat down alongside him, with a huge grin on his face.

Clearly, spirits are high at the Etihad Stadium, which is great to see.
