Manchester City are expected to be somewhat busy in January for a change.
The club have historically never really done much business in the mid-season window, but circumstances are different this time around.
Fans are mostly wondering if the club will try and sign a new midfielder, with the team really missing Rodri.
Rodri himself is said to have advised City to sign Martin Zubimendi.
Ederson of Atalanta has also been linked and he’d cost at least £42 million to prise away from the Bergamo outfit.
But there could also be an outgoing in the form of James McAtee, and the youngster is certainly attracting attention.
Man City open to James McAtee transfer as interest mounts up

It’s been claimed by Caught Offside that interest is seriously growing in McAtee amid his struggles to get regular minutes at the Etihad Stadium.
McAtee has yet to start in the Premier League, getting just one minute off the bench against Ipswich Town.
He’s only made five appearances so far this term (not including the Community Shield) and clubs are clearly looking to take advantage of this.
It recently was claimed West Ham were keen to sign McAtee, and Caught Offside say the Hammers are indeed keen.
They also say that Fulham, Celtic, Lens, Lille, Southampton, Nottingham Forest, Leicester City, Feyenoord, VfB Stuttgart and Girona are monitoring developments.
All of these clubs are said to have ‘more than a passing interest’ in McAtee. It’s stated City would be open to a transfer, although no definitive asking price is offered.

Interest in McAtee understandable
It’s little surprise so many clubs are keen to sign McAtee.
Everyone has seen how Cole Palmer has done at Chelsea since leaving City and there are probably a number of clubs hoping for a similar outcome with McAtee.
Guardiola’s underuse of McAtee this season has been a little strange this season, especially with the manager praising him a few times publicly.
Hopefully City won’t see in January, because he hasn’t really been given a proper chance.
It’d be a real shame if he left permanently and then went and flourished elsewhere just like Palmer has done. A loan move should be the play if City are willing to lose him.
