Erling Haaland has made a blistering start to the new season for Manchester City.
The Norwegian sensation has just scored back-to-back hat-tricks in the Premier League against Ipswich Town and West Ham United, taking his tally to seven for the season already.
It has been a ruthless display of finishing from the £51 million man.
Fans have noted that none of his goals so far have really been ‘tap-ins’, which is ominous for the rest of the league.
There has obviously been a lot of talk about Haaland in the days since the 3-1 win over West Ham.
Debates are now taking place as to where Haaland stands in terms of the all-time great strikers to have graced the Premier League.
The numbers are truly outrageous, and he is rightly now being compared to the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
For pundit Ale Moreno, Haaland has one trait in common with Ronaldo that simply cannot be taught.

Part of the reason Haaland is as good as he is, is because he works so hard in his craft.
Haaland is truly dedicated to being the best version of himself he can possibly be, and has an incredible mentality.
Last season, Jack Grealish joked that Haaland was ‘boring’ for just how professional he was. But this professionalism has undoubtedly helped him to get to the very top.
The comparisons to Cristiano Ronaldo especially are starting to become more and more frequent now, with Haaland very much a goal machine like the Portuguese superstar was around the same age.
Ale Moreno was speaking about Haaland in a new video for ESPN UK, and believes the City superstar shares one impressive trait with Ronaldo aside from goalscoring – his drive.
He said: “That ambition, that hunger, I don’t think it’s something you can teach. It’s something you have well within you, it’s a certain drive. It’s the sort of drive that Ronaldo has in him. Well, we are seeing it with Erling Haaland.
“Man, this guy is something else.”

We are currently witnessing something truly special in Haaland at Manchester City.
Everybody knew he would score goals when he made his move from Borussia Dortmund. But few probably foresaw him scoring quite at this rate.
And the thing is with Haaland, he is scoring some truly remarkable goals.
Yes, he has converted a lot of ‘tap-ins’ over the years. But he has also scored some amazing ones that have required a lot of athleticism. And his finishes this season have been absolutely brilliant.
Haaland really does appear to have that same drive we have seen for so long in Cristiano Ronaldo, which is going to make his career an absolute pleasure to watch for the next 10 years or so.
