Kyle Walker has said that Manchester City new-boy Jeremy Doku is faster than him over five metres.
Speaking to Sport Bible about his EA FC24 ratings, he addressd how his pace had dropped to 90, while the £55.5 million (Sky Sports) man’s was 91.
However, Kyle Walker admitted that over five metres, Jeremy Doku was quicker than him.
Kyle Walker says Jeremy Doku is ‘quicker’ than him over 5 metres
It is not a surprise to see the Belgian international, branded as ‘exceptional’ by Txiki Begiristain (via Manchester City’s official website) receive the rating he has in the game, considering none other than Kylian Mbappe said he is the fastest player he has ever come across in his career.
Considering Mbappe is one of, if not the quickest player in the world, this revelation was an insight into Doku’s frightening speed.
Now, Kyle Walker has admitted that over a short distance, Jeremy Doku might have his number.

“So, I’ve seen my card. I think the ratings have come down, actually. I’m not the quickest at City anymore. Jeremy is a 91. He is quicker than me…over five metres, we’ll say”, he said.
But even so, Kyle Walker still believes he has more pace to burn than Jeremy Doku at 33 years of age, saying, “Usain Bolt runs in a 100m race, he doesn’t run in a five-metre race. I still say that I am quicker.”
Kyle Walker would likely win in a race
Much like Jeremy Doku, perhaps Raheem Sterling or Leroy Sane also had more acceleration than Kyle Walker.
Over short distances, the manner in which both wingers would get into their stride was a sight to behold.
But as seen against some of the fastest players in the business in Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr., Kyle Walker tends to come out on top in a footrace over a larger distance.
The same may be the case if he is put up against Jeremy Doku.
