Former Premier League manager and pundit Alex McLeish has shared how impressed he has been with Jack Grealish at Manchester recently.
The winger ended his second season at the Etihad Stadium by winning his second Premier League title as well as his first FA Cup and Champions League.
With the new Premier League season just a few days away from kicking off, one former top-flight manager has shared his thoughts on the Englishman.
McLeish praises Grealish

Speaking in a recent edition of the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, McLeish had this to say about Grealish when asked which player he is looking forward to see in action next season.
He said: “I like Grealish. His improvement has been really good and people were doubting him over a season but has been absolutely brilliant.

“His form and the reason I’ve got a feeling for him is because I helped to secure him at Aston Villa in the academy when he was on the verge of possibly leaving so I should have become his agent.”
After scoring three goals and supplying three assists in his first league campaign with Pep Guardiola’s side, the 27-year-old then went on to find the net five times and provide seven assists across his previous campaign.

This highlights how much more of an impact he’s had in the team in front of goal and why McLeish has spoken about his improvement.
Having featured in 50 games last season and completed the full 90 minutes in City’s Champions League campaign from the quarter-final stage onwards, this showcases how much Guardiola sees him as being an important figure in the squad.
Looking ahead to the upcoming season, if the England international can develop his game even further and start to add more goal contributions to his game, he’ll be seen as one of the best purchases City have made in recent years.
