Manchester City have wasted no time in strengthening their ranks this summer, with two prospective new signings on the cards.
Tijjani Reijnders has agreed a move to Man City and a medical is imminent, while Rayan Ait-Nouri is also closing on a move to the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City are in Club World Cup action this summer, which means any signings that come in the next few days are likely to feature in the competition.
Graeme Bailey has now exclusively spoken to Manchester City News about how much the club is set to pay for Ait-Nouri and when they expect to complete the deal.

Manchester City expect to complete Rayan Ait-Nouri deal this weekend
Bailey has confirmed that City and Wolves sources have told him a deal is not yet agreed, though it’s getting close.
A deal is expected to be struck for around £40million, and the expectation is that it could be wrapped up by the upcoming weekend.
“Man City and Wolves are both saying a deal not agreed yet,” Bailey told MCN. “Talks ongoing.
“We believe that fee is set to be around £40million – similar to Milos Kerkez to Liverpool.
“And the expectation is that a deal will be done this weekend.”
What Rayan Ait-Nouri could bring to Man City
Ait-Nouri has made a name for himself as one of the most exciting full-backs in the Premier League since his move to Wolves from Angers in 2020.
The 13-cap Algeria international has made 157 appearances for Wolves over the past few years, notching up 12 goals and 19 assists.
Ait-Nouri is primarily a left-back, but he is versatile enough to be able to play as a left-winger, a right-winger, and even as a No. 10 or a centre-back.

Former Wolves captain Conor Coady has spoken highly of Ait-Nouri, telling Express & Star in 2020: “He’s sharp, really sharp. He turns you inside out and has bags of tricks.
“He’s a young boy coming from a different country, he’s a fantastic person and is brilliant to have around the place.”
