One Manchester City player showed Pep Guardiola what he’s capable of by delivering a top performance in his latest international match.

A number of players from Guardiola’s squad currently find themselves away on international duty with their respective countries.

With a number of games on yesterday, one particular City figure found himself delivering the sort of performance that would have delighted his club manager.

Despite losing 2-1 to the Czech Republic in their recent friendly game, Norway had one player who stood head and shoulders above the rest of his teammates – Bobb.

Having completed 75 minutes of the match, the winger opened the scoring in the 20th minute after he danced his way through the Czech defence and fired past the goalkeeper.

Across his entire period on the pitch, Bobb had 50 touches of the ball in total and was able to accurately complete 32 of the 34 passes he attempted.

This left him with a passing accuracy percentage of 94%, the highest in the entire team.

He also successfully completed all four of the dribbles he attempted, further highlighting how effective he was on the ball and how tricky he was to play against for the opposition.

In terms of his work off the ball, the 20-year-old won five of the six duels he was involved in and even made one interception.

This performance ultimately earned the City starlet an impressive overall match rating of 8.1/10 from SofaScore, making him the highest-rated player in the Norway team.

Having been so impressive on and off the ball in this instance, this should reassure his club manager that he has what it takes to be a key figure for his side.

Bearing in mind how the winger has only started one Premier League game this season, perhaps this latest international display will convince Guardiola to give Bobb more minutes in a City shirt.
