Manchester City have a rich trophy history and are now a powerhouse of the English game.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s takeover in 2008 has delivered a seemingly endless stream of success to continually strengthen the list of titles won.
The 2011/12 Premier League triumph was Manchester City’s first top-flight trophy since their 1967/68 First Division crown.
More recent years have also delivered vast successes in the domestic cup competitions and City also won their first Champions League trophy in 2023.

The old First Division marked the first English top-flight trophy Manchester City added to their list of titles in 1936/37.
The Blues would only win the top flight once more before the maiden season of the breakaway Premier League in 1992/93. But Sheikh Mansour’s takeover turned them into a great force.

But it did not take that long for their third continental honour. City contested for the UEFA Super Cup against Europa League winners Sevilla in August 2023.
