First-Team Squad

The Manchester City squad of 26 players has been built for the 2022/23 season for manager Pep Guardiola. The Etihad Stadium natives’ senior team includes four goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 10 midfielders and two forwards, including any players currently away from the Citizens on loan moves.

Manchester City signed Zack Steffen from MLS outfit Columbus Crew in 2019. The goalkeeper later made his debut for the Citizens in September 2020 following his loan spell with Fortuna Dusseldorf. The American has also moved to Middlesbrough on loan for the 2022/23 Championship campaign.
