Kalvin Phillips has now decided which club he wants to join in January as a departure from Manchester City looms.
That is according to Calciomercato.
So, which club has Kalvin Phillips chosen? Let’s take a look…
Kalvin Phillips makes decision on next club
Well – according to the Italian news outlet – the England international has opted to join Juventus.
It is said that Phillips believes a move to Juventus represents his best chance of regular playing time ahead of UEFA EURO 2024 starting in June.
The Manchester City No.4 wants to ensure he makes Gareth Southgate’s squad, despite already doing that regardless of his lack of game time under Pep Guardiola.
Calciomercato believe Massimiliano Allegri has promised Phillips that he will be a regular in the starting XI at the Allianz Stadium if he moves to Turin this winter.

Juventus are hoping to strike an initial loan deal for the 28-year-old ahead of a potential permanent move in the summer.
Phillips has given Juventus the green light, with Allegri also in favour of the deal, so it is now up to Manchester City to approve the loan.
If the treble winners are happy with the conditions, then this switch should materialise quickly.
Manchester City could benefit from Kalvin Phillips loan
At this point in time, it is obvious that Guardiola sees no future for Phillips at Manchester City – that was evident in the Spaniard’s comments on Friday, where he admitted he cannot see the Yorkshireman in his tactical ideas.
Therefore, the £45m man is not exactly a lucrative asset right now – and a permanent sale surely would not see Manchester City receive anything close to what they handed Leeds for Phillips.

However, a successful loan move could see Phillips restore his value back to that £45m mark, ahead of a summer where there will be more takers for a permanent deal.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Juventus look likely to sign the £135,000-a-week man.
