The upcoming summer transfer window will be one full of activity at Manchester City it seems.
Pep Guardiola has already started the much-needed rebuild at Manchester City, with four new players arriving at The Etihad in the January transfer window.
The Man City boss is planning further big-name signings in the summer, with the likes of Nico Williams thought to be on his radar.
The Cityzens have experienced a sharp decline this season, but things are looking up once again after Saturday’s 4-0 win over Newcastle United.
Pep and his players will now be determined to finish the 2024/25 season in style.
And then when the summer transfer window opens, it will very much be a case of out with the old and in with the new.

Certain players are clearly finished at Man City, including the likes of Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish.
However, one or two more recent signings may well be shown the exit door as well.
Maximo Perrone says his future lies away from Manchester City
Pep brought Maximo Perrone to Man City from Argentinian side Velez Sarsfield in January 2023 for around £8 million (BBC).
However, the 22-year-old has played just two first-team games for City – both substitute appearances.
He moved to Las Palmas on loan in 2023, before joining the Cesc Fabregas revolution at Como in the summer of 2024.
And it seems like he wants to remain with the Serie A outfit.
Perrone spoke to Calcioline about his future with Como and Manchester City, and he made it clear what he wants to do:
“There are agents, representatives, I don’t know anything. As far as I’m concerned, I want to stay here, grow and learn more with Como.

“I want to give a hand to my teammates and I’m happy to stay with Cesc. I have an excellent relationship with him. I hope my future is here with Como.”
That really is remarkably honest from the young Argentine midfielder.
However, it has to be said, he was never going to break into the Man City team in the No.6 position with Rodri and now Nico Gonzalez at The Etihad was he.
Cesc Fabregas a huge fan of Maximo Perrone
Perhaps a permanent move to Como this summer would be the ideal solution for all parties concerned.
Perrone has been a big hit with Como under Fabregas’s guidance.
Fabregas has raved about the South American’s creativity and link-up play, when speaking to Como’s official website.
He has certainly taken to Serie A like a duck to water, and seems to be more suited to Italian football than the Premier League.
Maximo Perrone is a very good player, but he has a far greater chance of making it with Como than he does Manchester City.
And judging by his latest comments, his days at The Etihad are numbered.
