Erling Haaland is loving life at Manchester City especially playing alongside one player.
Manchester City’s back-to-back treble hopes stayed alive on Tuesday night as Pep Guardiola’s side advanced to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
The Blues defeated Luton Town 6-2 in a thrilling match-up, with Erling Haaland grabbing five of the goals and Mateo Kovacic adding the sixth.
There was a brief scare as the Hatters fought back from three down to 3-2 and there is a fresh injury concern for Jack Grealish but otherwise, it was a perfect night for City.
Haaland may have scored five but he was rivalled by Kevin De Bruyne for the Player of the Match award, with the brilliant Belgian setting up the first four goals.

Haaland has revealed it’s a pleasure to play alongside De Bruyne and discussed the relationship the pair have on the pitch.
He told ITV: “Look at what he’s doing. He’s doing what he’s best at.
“It’s a pleasure playing with him. [Their connection is] Not bad. It’s quite good.
“I think we know, know what we both want from each other. We look at each other often throughout the game and it clicks well.
“He’s a smart guy, I like to play with smart guys.”
A dream connection
De Bruyne’s fellow countryman Jeremy Doku joined an elite club earlier this season by becoming just the ninth player to register four assists in a single Premier League match.
De Bruyne didn’t join him given his exploits were in the FA Cup but he enjoyed the added wrinkle of setting up all four goals for one player.
It takes De Bruyne to the top of the assist chats at City as he already has 11 to his name in just 12 matches. A remarkable achievement.
City may have worrying injury concerns with Grealish hobbling off the pitch again but the magic of De Bruyne and Haaland working together should be enough to secure more silverware.
