Barcelona are reportedly preparing a big-money offer to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City.
The Spanish club are also reportedly working on a deal to sign Joao Cancelo from the Citizens.
Now though, some fresh behind-the-scenes details have come to light about Barcelona’s efforts to add another City star to their ranks this summer.
Barcelona preparing offer to sign Silva

According to a recent report from Sport, Barcelona will make the highest financial offer they can to land a deal for Silva this summer, which is said to be €65m (£56m) plus €10m (£8m) in add-ons.
The La Liga side were linked with a move for the City midfielder during the previous summer transfer window, only to see him stay at the Etihad Stadium.
Since arriving at the Manchester club back in 2017, the Portuguese international has gone on to make 306 appearances across all competitions, scoring 55 goals and delivering 59 assists along the way.

Described as an “unbelievable” player by Kevin De Bruyne, Silva showed how important he is for the team last season by featuring in all but six of their matches.
With Jack Grealish also showing his admiration for the midfielder by asking him to stay at the club during their celebration period at the end of last season, this further highlights how popular and how much of a significant figure Silva is in Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Bearing in mind how the European champions have already apparently turned down an offer for the Portuguese international from Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the window, this could make it a difficult task for Barcelona to sign him, especially if they don’t offer what City could be willing to accept for him.
