It has been reported that Manchester City have ‘agreed terms’ to sign Rennes sensation Jeremy Doku.
This comes from the Secret Scout, after it was reported on Friday that Pep Guardiola’s men were in ‘advanced negotiations’ to sign him.
Now, it seems like Manchester City and Jeremy Doku have agreed over a summer transfer after all.
Journalist: Manchester City have agreed terms to sign Jeremy Doku
Branded as ‘electric’ by Business Upturn, the 21-year-old is considered as a replacement for Riyad Mahrez, who has joined Al-Ahli.
Currently, the Sky Blues have only a single natural winger on their books and that is Cole Palmer, who himself is quite a young prospect, as well as the fact that his future remains unclear at this point.
Now, it has been revealed that Manchester City alongside Jeremy Doku and his representatives have ‘agreed terms’ over a move.

Interestingly, it has also been claimed that the treble-winners have been keeping a close eye on the Belgian’s progress since 2017 after he caught their eye during the KDB Cup.
Jeremy Doku could become a superstar under Pep Guardiola
Much like either Raheem Sterling or Leroy Sane, Jeremy Doku would also join Manchester City at a stage of a career where his talent is undeniable but his game still needs polishing.
Thankfully for the youngster, if he does make the move to the Etihad Stadium, he would have the chance to work under arguably the greatest coach of all time in Pep Guardiola.
In the cases of Sterling and Sane, Guardiola allowed them to play to their natural instincts but fine-tuned their positioning inside the penalty area, timing of runs and off-the-ball work.
Unsurprisingly, the pair were not just devastating at City but developed into the most complete versions of themselves.
Doku could experience the same fate, being similar to the duo in terms of being a direct two-way dribbler with bags of pace.
