Sheffield United defender Anel Ahmedhodzic has admitted to have always been a Manchester City fan and set the club as his dream transfer destination one day.
The Bosnian international has been flying for the Blades since joining the club in the summer, as he expressed this interesting revelation to NOVA BH.

Now, Anel Ahmedhodzic has said that if he could join any club on a potential transfer in the future, it would be Manchester City.
Anel Ahmedhodzic opens up on Manchester City transfer dream
Sky Blues supporters will likely be over the moon about this revelation, even though it is becoming more and more common that current players are admitting to supporting the club.
The club’s two summer signings in Erling Haaland and Sergio Gomez themselves are known to have been boyhood City fans.
In a new interview, Anel Ahmedhodzic gave an insight into him being a Manchester City supporter and his transfer dream of representing them one fine day.
“Well, since I was about 10 years old, and Edin Dzeko started playing for Manchester City, I’ve always followed City. And after Dzeko, my favourite player was Yaya Toure. Since then, I’ve watched Manchester City every time they play. That means I’d like to play for City in the future. I love the football they play.”
A potential future Manchester City centre-back
Currently, it is unlikely that Pep Guardiola’s side add the 24-year-old to their defensive roster, despite Aymeric Laporte linked with a summer switch to Barcelona.
While there is no questioning how talented Anel Ahmedhodzic is, as the aforementioned report says, the Premier League champions will target a more established player such as Josko Gvardiol as a potential transfer.
But in the future, a move is certainly possible, especially if Ahmedhodzic continues to display his natural talent on a consistent basis.
