Pundit Jermaine Beckford has claimed that Manchester City’s match against Tottenham Hotspur could be a crazy game.

Having dropped two points at home last weekend in their previous league outing against Liverpool, the Citizens are back at the Etihad Stadium once again tomorrow with a clash against Spurs.

Previewing this big game, one pundit and former Premier League player thinks football fans could be in for a classic match on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking in a recent edition of Team Talks by Premier League Productions (via Optus Sport), Beckford had this to say about the upcoming clash at the Etihad.

He said: “Watching how City play, the amount of ball they have, the creative aspects they have as well, the players they have, it’s going to be crazy.

“As a neutral, I’m super excited about watching to see how both teams fare. But if you’re a follower of Spurs, I’d be worried.”

Focusing on the attacking power City have shown in this campaign so far, they have scored 33 goals in total, more than any other side in the division.

In addition to that, the Blues have the highest number of key passes (173) and goal-creating actions (60) in the league, which backs up Beckford’s point about the danger and creativity City have.

Then from Spurs point of view, the fact that they have conceded eight goals in their three previous league games and will be without Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero at the back for this match makes it easy to see why Beckford thinks the Lilywhites could be in for a tough time at the Etihad tomorrow.

Despite all of that, City should still approach this game expecting Spurs to give them a strong test where they will need to be at their best if they want to walk away with all three points and not let any complacency creep in.
