Erling Haaland grabbed the headlines as Manchester City coasted through the Manchester derby – but Phil Foden also caught the eye.
The England international scored Manchester City’s third and final goal to seal all three points for the treble winners following an unselfish assist from Haaland.
However, that was not all the Manchester City No.47 did at Old Trafford, as one other moment blew Danny Murphy away.

Well, there was one moment in the second half where the £225,000-a-week man found himself doing a bit of defensive work in the right-back position close to Kyle Walker.
As the ball fell from the sky, Foden found himself in a seemingly impossible situation, as Sergio Reguilon put pressure on him, while the touchline also limited his space.
However, the 23-year-old somehow managed to bring the ball down perfectly with his first touch, before sharply juggling the ball away from the Manchester United No.15 with his second touch.
It was a remarkable bit of skill, and it deservedly made it’s way into the good section of Match of the Day 2’s 2 Good 2 Bad.
As the footage played, Murphy could be heard in the background saying: “Oooo, touch.”
Phil Foden stepped up for Manchester City
This was a truly special performance by Foden.
As WhoScored shows, the Stockport-born maestro did not only impress in an attacking sense, but pulled his weight defensively with two successful tackles and two interceptions at Old Trafford.
Only Rodri and Kyle Walker made more tackles, while Foden’s two interceptions were actually more than the Spain international managed with one.
Foden’s goal was simply the icing on the cake – it was a performance which had absolutely everything.
