Ben Foster was left stunned by the kicking power of one Manchester City player against Brentford at the weekend.
City made it four wins out of four in the Premier League, beating the Bees 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
After going 1-0 down very quickly, City striker Erling Haaland found the net twice to continue his fine form in front of goal.
The Norwegian produced two more superb finishes, to take his tally to nine for the season. That is more than any other club in the Premier League.
Haaland has obviously come in for most of the plaudits since the weekend, with Foster himself hailing the star for the way he took his second goal in particular.
But the former goalkeeper was left amazed by one City star’s effortless kicking ability.
Ben Foster amazed by Ederson’s kicking style after assist for Man City v Brentford

Haaland did fantastic work to score his second goal against Brentford.
But the man who played the ball to him Ederson. The Brazilian is famed for his passing range and comfort with the ball at his feet.
That was the £100,000-a-week star fourth assist for City – which is more than Manchester United winger Antony – and his powerful kick left Foster extremely impressed.
He said in a new video for his YouTube channel: “He must have the strongest adductors, or abductors whatever it is, in world football! It’s like one step.
“This is what is genius, I don’t think there’s another goalie who could play for City and City still be so effective.
“Because of this out-ball that they’ve got, so if teams come up against Man City and they go ‘We’re going to press you today and we’re going to start high’, Ederson will just stick that ball on the six-yard box, and he can kick it to the edge of their 18-yard box!”
Ederson staying was a big boost for City
While City have only kept one clean sheet so far, the club keeping hold of Ederson was a major boost.
He was strongly linked with a move to Al-Ittihad in the summer and at one point it looked like he could go, especially with Stefan Ortega signing a new contract.
But Ederson stayed, and what he did against Brentford just goes to show what a brilliant and unique player he is.
Not many other goalkeepers can assist like he did for Haaland.
Ederson can fire long balls in an instant with minimal backlift, and it is highly impressive to see.
Without doubt, it’s great news he stayed. He may sometimes concede goals he should save, but he is integral to building attacks from the back.
