Manchester City have beaten Arsenal to the Premier League title in the past two seasons.
One player who has played a big role in Mikel Arteta’s side over the past couple of years is Ben White.
In fact, the defender appeared in all but one of Arsenal’s league games last term as the Gunners ended up just two points behind Pep Guardiola’s side at the top of the table.
Now that a new season has got underway, the Englishman has shared his thoughts on one player in the City squad who will be aiming to get his hands on another trophy at the end of the campaign.

Ben White praises Jeremy Doku
Appearing in a recent video shared on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel, White had this to say about Jeremy Doku after mentioning him as one of the most difficult opponents he’s faced.
He said: “Yeah, he is top.”
Doku is a tough opponent for any defender
City paid £55m to sign the winger from Rennes back in the 2023 summer transfer window.
In his debut season at the Etihad Stadium, the Belgian featured in 43 games across all competitions, scoring six goals and delivering 11 assists along the way.
Even though Doku played 51 minutes against White across City’s two league games last season, this shows just how much of an impact he had in terms of the defender having to contain the winger.
With 29 league appearances to his name last term, the 22-year-old made more carries into the penalty area (147) than any other side in the division as well as having the second-highest total of successful take-ons (87).
In fact, Doku completed more dribbles (6) than any other player in the top five leagues over the opening weekend against Chelsea.
Now that White has pointed out how much he admires the City winger, this further showcases how much of a dangerous attacking figure he is for the Blues.
