As Erling Haaland continues to make a mockery of defences in Europe for Manchester City, Bayern defender Benjamin Pavard has singled him out for praise.

“He is a great player, he shows it every weekend, scores goals in every game and he is one of the best No.9s in the world. Haaland is destined for greatness and the world knows it

Despite the Sky Blues No.9 still having a chunk of his career left, the numbers he has put up since his time at RB Salzburg have led many to already crown him as one of the game’s greatest ever goalscorers.

While the term, ‘generational talent’ gets thrown around far too easily nowadays, the Norwegian striker sums it up and the world knows that.
