Bernardo Silva has hinted that he could leave Manchester City during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old scored two goals during City’s recent 4-0 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League, securing their place in the final.
After being linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium last summer, a recent report has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Silva, who has just over two years left on his contract with the Citizens.
Silva shares update on City future
Speaking to RMC Sport (via Fabrizio Romano) after the game against Real, the City star said this when asked about his future.
He said: “My plan is to complete well the season, win the Premier League and then the two finals… then, this summer we will see what happens.”

This season has seen the Portuguese international show just how important he is for the team by featuring in 52 games in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists while playing across numerous positions.
With Pep Guardiola hailing Silva as one of the best players he has ever seen following the 4-0 thrashing on Wednesday, it’s clear that he would presumably want to keep hold of the versatile figure for as long as possible.
However, with the player saying he is now fully focused on winning the three trophies that City could possibly get their hands on this season, this should be reassuring for the supporters in the short term.
Although, if any uncertainty around his long-term future becomes a running theme during the upcoming summer transfer window, this would be a big concern for everyone at the club.
