Manchester City are gearing up for a huge game in the Premier League with Arsenal on Sunday – and Pep Guardiola has been handed a big boost regarding Kevin De Bruyne.
City will go toe-to-toe with the league leaders at the Etihad Stadium, and hope to leapfrog them with a win.
Arsenal beat City at the Emirates earlier in the season, and retribution will certainly be on the cards. A win against the Gunners would be a huge statement and also send a strong message to Liverpool.
City have a number of injury concerns heading into the game. Kyle Waker limped out of England’s game with Brazil, and then John Stones went off injured against Belgium.
But it looks as though it’s good news for City regarding Kevin De Bruyne…
Kevin De Bruyne set to start against Arsenal, he’s had full training session with Man City EDS

Ahead of the Newcastle United game before the international break, City fans were rocked by news that Kevin De Bruyne had not been called into the latest Belgium squad.
It emerged that the 32-year-old had suffered a minor groin injury.
He therefore played no part against Newcastle, and has been working away at the CFA to get himself fit to face Arsenal.
It looks as though that will now happen. As reported by the Daily Star, De Bruyne’s recovery has gone well, and the maestro actually enjoyed a full training session with the club’s EDS earlier this week.
The publication claim he is now set to start for City against Arsenal on Sunday. The club had been hopeful a couple of weeks ago that he would feature.
Pep Guardiola will be speaking to the media on Friday and will no doubt provide an update on the Etihad talisman, and a host of other players.
A major boost for City
So it looks as though De Bruyne will be in that starting XI on Sunday for City’s huge game against Arsenal, which is a major boost.
The importance and magnitude of the game with Arsenal cannot be overstated, and £55 million star De Bruyne featuring is paramount for City.
The Gunners are a team he simply loves playing against, having scored eight times against them in his playing career.
Mikel Arteta’s side are a major threat to City’s ambition of securing a fourth straight Premier League title. Pep having most of his key players fit for Sunday will potentially have a huge bearing on which way the game will go.
