Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has named Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku as the toughest opponent he has faced so far this season.
After making 91 appearances for Bristol City where he scored six goals and delivered seven assists, the 20-year-old joined Bournemouth back in the previous summer transfer window in a deal worth £25m.
With a few months under his belt as a Premier League player, the midfielder has shared one name as being the hardest player he has faced so far.
Scott names Doku as toughest opponent

Having featured alongside two of his Bournemouth teammates on a recent episode of the Filthy Fellas podcast, Scott said that Doku has been the toughest player he has come up against so far this season.
This season has seen the Englishman struggle with injuries, which have led to him only featuring in three Premier League games against Wolves, Burnley and City.
In fact, it was the 6-1 defeat at the Etihad Stadium back in November where Scott picked up a knee injury that has kept him out of action since.
Looking back over that game, the fact that Doku, who City paid £55m to sign during the previous summer transfer window, scored one goal and provided four assists.
This makes it understandable why Scott considers him to be the hardest player he has faced this season.
In addition to his goal and assists, the Belgian made five key passes and successfully completed all of the five dribbles he attempted, ultimately earning himself a perfect match rating of 10/10 from SofaScore.
From Scott’s perspective, it’s unfortunate that injuries have kept him from playing against more Premier League sides and players this season and that one of his only top-flight matches saw him and his teammates get dominated by Doku.
