Bristol City winger Adedire Mebude has named one Manchester City star as the best player he has ever shared the pitch with.
The winger, who is currently on loan at the Championship club from KVC Westerlo, spent just under three years at the Manchester club where he worked his way through the youth ranks before being moved on in the 2023 summer transfer window.
Now though, the former City youngster has highlighted one of his former teammates for some very high praise.
Mebude says former City teammate is the best he’s ever played with

During a recent Q&A shared on the Scotland National Team’s official TikTok channel, Mebude was asked who the best player he’s ever played with is.
In response, the winger named Oscar Bobb as his standout teammate.
City signed the Norwegian back in the 2019 summer transfer window from Valerenga’s youth system.
After making 114 appearances for the Manchester club’s youth ranks, scoring 31 goals and delivering 33 assists in the process, the winger has been a regular figure in Pep Guardiola’s senior squad for this season.
With 20 first-team appearances under his belt, Bobb has found the net on two occasions and supplied two assists, with one of those goals being the crucial winner in City’s 3-2 Premier League victory against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.
During their time together at the club, Bobb and Mebude featured in 44 games together across all competitions, racking up four joint goal participations along the way.
Now that the Scotsman has named the City winger as the best player he’s played with, this highlights how impressive he is and why he’s found himself being a permanent fixture in Guardiola’s squad.
Moving forward, if the 20-year-old can keep working hard and take the chances that come his way in terms of featuring for City, more people will become aware of what sort of talent the Citizens have with Bobb.
