Bruno Guimaraes has said Erling Haaland is one of the two best players in the world alongside Jude Bellingham.
The Newcastle United lynchpin named Haaland alongside Bellingham during an interview with That’s Football (via YouTube), with the pair famously playing in tandem at Borussia Dortmund as recently as in 2022.
However, Guimaraes’ club and international teammate, Joelinton sided with Haaland as the current best player in world football.

Both Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham have gone on to elevate their game since leaving Borussia Dortmund.
While Haaland particularly did so last season at Manchester City, Bellingham is perhaps the best player in La Liga in his debut campaign, which emphasises how brilliant he has been from the get-go.
So much so that Bruno Guimaraes cannot look past Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham as the two standout performers in the world currently.
“[I would] Say, Bellingham, Haaland. Yeah, Haaland, Bellingham”, he said in an interview with That’s Football.

Bruno Guimaraes is perhaps fair to name both Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham, who continue to prove their phenomenal talent.
However, in our view, the £51.3 million (Optus Sport) man has put himself in another stratosphere to the rest since signing for Pep Guardiola and Co.
So much so that Dwight Yorke claimed in December that the Norwegian was “failing” this season due to not having scored the same number of goals he did at the same period last season.
The Manchester United legend’s remark pinpoints the standards that Haaland has set, considering he remains the Premier League’s joint-highest goalscorer.
Despite Jude Bellingham’s undeniable magnificence alongside several of Europe’s most in-form players, they have a way to go before being on the same level as Erling Haaland.
