Pundit Chris Sutton has suggested that Declan Rice would be keen on joining Manchester City during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Englishman has been linked with a move away from West Ham United this summer, with several Premier League clubs apparently looking to sign him, one of which being Arsenal.
With that in mind, one pundit has claimed that the player may have his eyes on joining Pep Guardiola’s side once the current season comes to an end.
Sutton thinks Rice may want City move

Speaking on a recent edition of 5 Live Sport’s The Monday Night Club podcast, Sutton said this about Rice and the possibility of him preferring a move to the Etihad Stadium this summer.
He said: “I’m sure if Declan Rice got the opportunity to join Man City he would choose them above anybody. They have the best chance of winning something.
“I think Arsenal would be a brilliant move for Arsenal, I really do, because we have just talked about the lack of strength of depth in Arsenal’s team and they would go up a level with him, but that’s probably not the only area of Arsenal’s team where they need to strengthen.”
With a reported price tag of £100m, securing a potential deal for the 24-year-old would presumably be a significant one for City from a financial point of view.
However, with Guardiola calling the England international an “exceptional” player earlier this month, this could be a move that the club looks to launch in the summer, especially if they end up waving goodbye to Ilkay Gundogan when his contract expires in June.
