PSG have already agreed personal terms with Bernardo Silva for a transfer in 2024 as the Portugal international aims to leave Manchester City.

That is according to le10sport in France.

So, what was written about Bernardo Silva and PSG? Let’s take a look…

What’s the story?

Well, the French news outlet claim that PSG are preparing another approach to Manchester City for the 29-year-old.

The Parisians first tried to sign Silva in 2022, and made another attempt in the summer transfer window just gone.

Now – according to le10sport – PSG are preparing a third swoop for the Manchester City No.20.

It is said that those at the Parc des Princes feel confident about signing Silva at the end of the season, as he now has a £50m release clause in his contract at the Etihad Stadium.

Interestingly, the French news outlet add that PSG have already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Portuguese maestro, and Kylian Mbappe himself is asking for the transfer to happen.

Le10sport add that Silva respects Manchester City tremendously, but would like to take on a new challenge after spending the last six years of his career at the Etihad Stadium.

Bernardo Silva seems likely to leave Manchester City for PSG – not Barcelona

Barcelona are another side who hold a strong desire to sign Silva.

However – as also mentioned by le10sport – the Spanish giants will not have the financial capability to sign the Lisbon-born playmaker next summer, so his most likely destination as things stand is Paris.

In our view, this season may be Silva’s last campaign at the Etihad Stadium, as PSG can easily afford that £50m release clause given their vast wealth.

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as anything could happen between now and the end of the season.
