Bayern Munich are now feeling concerned as Manchester City show genuine interest in signing Jamal Musiala.
That is according to BILD in Germany.
So, what is the latest on Jamal Musiala and Manchester City? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, this rumour simply will not go away – in fact, it is intensifying.
After Christian Falk – BILD’s Head of Football – revealed that Pep Guardiola personally wants Musiala at the Etihad Stadium, Bayern Munich’s views on the situation have emerged.
Manchester City wanting to sign the Germany international has been described as a “dangerous” situation internally at the Allianz Arena.
BILD’s story highlights the “almost endless financial resources” available to Guardiola, as well as the Spaniard himself possessing more pulling power than any other coach across Europe.

The German news outlet also mention that Musiala continues to be placed on the bench following strong performances, with Thomas Tuchel keen to keep Thomas Müller involved in the starting XI.
BILD explain how that is problematic, as the £91,000-a-week Manchester City target was promised a leading role as the face of Bayern Munich.
As things stand, Musiala is refusing to engage in contract talks with Bayern Munich, although his current terms expire in June 2026, so the situation is not urgent.
Bayern Munich right to feel worried as Manchester City target Jamal Musiala
In our view, Bayern Munich are right to feel concerned.
Manchester City are arguably the most attractive club on the planet right now, perhaps alongside Real Madrid.
Players like Musiala are offered huge salaries at the Etihad Stadium, where they also have a very high chance of winning silverware.

In Guardiola, there is also – arguably – the greatest manager of all time, who has a knack of developing already talented footballers into superstars.
That surely appeals to Musiala, and if Bayern Munich fail to captivate the 20-year-old’s imagination this season, he may push to leave in the summer.
