Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is one of the best players in the world, but apparently, some Manchester United fans do not rate him highly.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Manchester City and Norway international striker Erling Haaland has noted what some Manchester United fans tell him when they meet him.

The 23-year-old striker has said that United fans who meet him tell him that he is not good.

The former Borussia Dortmund star has laughed off those views.

Haaland has scored eight goals and given one assist in seven Premier League matches for City so far this season.

The 23-year-old scored 36 goals and provided eight assists in 33 league starts for the Citizens last season.

The Norwegian star also scored 12 goals and provided one assist in 11 UEFA Champions League matches last season.

City won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup last season.

Haaland told The Telegraph while laughing: “Sometimes I meet Manchester United fans and they say this and that and tell me I am no good or whatever and I look at them and think ‘come on!’”

Manchester United fans wish they had Erling Haaland

In my view, Manchester United fans are in denial if they do not think that Erling Haaland is a good striker.

United fans wish they had the Manchester City star in their team right now.

The Red Devils may not even end up in the top four of the Premier League this season.

I believe that Haaland will finish as the top scorer in the Premier League table this season.

Just like he did last season.

Of course, Haaland can still improve his game.

After all, he is 23 now and can only get better.

But, there is no doubt that Haaland is a world-class player and is a lethal force in attack.

Once upon a time, United were signing the best players in the world.

Now, it is City who have become the club in Manchester where the best players go to.
