Manchester City fans are hoping to see a turnaround after the international break.
It has been a rough past couple of weeks for the club with performances falling way short of expectations against a backdrop of injuries to key players.
Manchester City are currently on a four-game losing run, with two of those coming in the Premier League.
Liverpool have now been able to open up a five-point gap at the top of the table, and ideally, that gap will not become any bigger once club football resumes.
Andy Robertson expects Man City to come back stronger, but we will see about that because Pep Guardiola is facing some tests over the next few weeks.
After four straight losses, Manchester City News now assesses the club’s next four in all competitions.
Tottenham (home) – Premier League, November 23

City’s next game is against Tottenham Hotspur, against whom this four-game losing streak started in the Carabao Cup.
Spurs come to the Etihad Stadium where they have had fair success over the years.
That said, Ange Postecoglou’s side are erratic. You never quite know which Spurs you are going to get these days.
But it’s potentially a tricky one for City and there are probably plenty of teams Guardiola would prefer to face rather than Tottenham to try and get back on track.
Difficulty rating – 7/10
Feyenoord (home) – Champions League, November 26
A few days later, City return to Champions League action against Feyenoord.
City were humbled 4-1 by Sporting CP last time out and will be very keen to return to winning ways in the competition.
Guardiola’s side are still in a decent position in the League Phase and currently sit 10th on seven points – just two behind Aston Villa who are in the final automatic qualifying place.
This season, Feyenoord sit fourth in the Eredivisie table after 12 games played. They are currently on 25 points, eight behind leaders PSV Eindhoven.
Realistically, City should be winning this game without too many issues. They are not as good as Sporting, but Feyenoord will be encouraged by City’s recent form so it could still be tricky.
Difficulty rating 5/10
Liverpool (away) – Premier League, December 1
December 1 sees the first meeting between Manchester City and Liverpool, who look set to be the two main contenders for the title.
Guardiola and Arne Slot have never faced each other before, and it promises to be a fascinating contest.
Liverpool have started extremely well under the Dutchman and have probably surprised quite a few people regarding how well they’ve done following the departure of Jurgen Klopp.
Games at Anfield are tough for anyone, and one can only hope City have managed to beat Tottenham and Feyenoord beforehand in order to arrive with a bit of momentum.
Should City arrive at Anfield still in poor form, then this will be a very scary clash.
Difficult rating 9/10
Nottingham Forest (home) – Premier League, December 4
Just days after the game with Liverpool, City are back in action against Nottingham Forest, who are something of a surprise package this season.
They have been flying under Nuno Espirito Santo – who won Manager of the Month for October – and are currently fifth in the table and just four points behind City.
Forest have been strong defensively this term, with centre-backs Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic really standing out in particular.
But then, the Reds also have some great flair players like Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi and Chris Wood has been in terrific form.
If City are not careful here, Forest could easily cause an upset. With this being a home game though, City are hopefully much less likely to have issues.
