With Manchester City having quite a bloated squad, it will be fascinating to discover the players who potentially depart the Etihad Stadium in the coming weeks.

Pep Guardiola has demanded a smaller squad at Manchester City next season, with the Catalan tactician forced to leave out big names from several games last season.

One of the players who has also been left out of certain games is James McAtee, who Manchester City intend to sell this summer.

Jack Grealish is one of the many players who have been completely omitted from games as well, with the Englishman being dropped from City’s matchday squad against Fulham.

Everton eyeing Manchester City star Jack Grealish on loan

The i Paper have now revealed that Everton are targeting the signing of Grealish on loan this summer.

David Moyes is believed to be a huge fan of the England international as well but Manchester City News revealed that West Ham United are keen on signing Grealish, who are claimed to be interested among several Premier League clubs.

As things stand, the report claims that Everton are trying to discover whether City are only willing to sell the 29-year-old permanently.

However, Grealish, who Pep Guardiola called “unbelievable” would need to take a pay cut to earn a permanent transfer but Everton are genuinely interested in his signature, placing his name among several other “ambitious” targets.

Players who have played for both Manchester City and Everton

If the three-time Premier League winner makes a move to Merseyside, albeit on a temporary basis, he would become one of the many players to have played for both clubs.

In total, nine players have played for both English clubs’ first-teams.

Grealish would become the 10th player to have played for both clubs if he made the shock move to Everton from Manchester City on a season-long loan.

Only time will tell whether the player fancies the move this summer.
