Before the international break, Manchester City lost against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola’s side will be back in action this weekend and determined to bounce back.
On Saturday, Manchester City will face Brighton and Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
City are third in the league table at the moment.
The defending champions have picked up 18 points from eight matches.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are first and second respectively with 20 points.
Brighton and Hove Albion are sixth with 16 points from eight games.
Although City are at home, I expect Brighton to make it hard for the Citizens.
David Seaman predicts Manchester City vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Former City goalkeeper David Seaman has given his prediction of the match.
The pundit has backed the home team to win 2-0.
Seaman said on his podcast: ”By the looks of things Stones is going to be straight back in, isn’t he?
“I’m going to go 2-0 Man City.”
My View: Why Manchester City will win vs Brighton
I am backing Manchester City to win against Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend.
First of all, City have the better team.
That does make the difference in the end.
Rodri is back from suspension.

And, we can all agree that City are a much better and stronger team with Rodri in it.
Secondly, the match is at the Etihad Stadium.
City are strong at home and will have the crowd behind them.
Thirdly, Brighton themselves were not in great form before the international break.
After losing to Chelsea in the EFL Cup, Roberto De Zerbi’s side were hammered 6-1 by Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Then came 2-2 draws with Marseille and Liverpool.
Now, of course, I do not think that City should be complacent against a Brighton team who are really good and play wonderful football.
But, in my opinion, if City play like they normally do, then they should pick up all three points from the match.
