Manchester City are looking to put the final touches on their 2025 summer transfer window.
The Premier League giants came out of the blocks flying at the start of the summer, with Tijjani Reijnders the last to be added to Pep Guardiola’s squad, with the Dutch star following Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri, and Marcus Bettinelli.
Man City are still searching for a right-back; however, their main focus at present is outgoings, with several stars needing to be moved on to trim down Guardiola’s squad.
Some players will be easier to part with than others, and despite plenty of interest in one of Man City’s stars, it is believed the Manchester club have yet to be approached by a club over a transfer.

No clubs have approached Man City for James McAtee
Man City are currently focused on McAtee’s sale as the midfielder is the easiest player to move on given the interest in the 22-year-old.
McAtee travelled to Germany this week to speak with Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund, while Nottingham Forest have made it clear that they intend to sign the Englishman, even if they don’t part ways with Morgan Gibbs-White.
According to Sky Sports, the 22-year-old and his representatives have now returned to the UK after their talks in Germany with no deal having been agreed with the German club, but Frankfurt remain an option.
Man City have not received any approaches from interested clubs so far, while several Premier League teams remain keen, with Nottingham Forest pushing to do a deal.
With so many clubs interested in McAtee, someone will need to make a move fast, as a bid is very likely to come from one of the interested parties soon, which will give them an advantage.

Other clubs are interested in James McAtee
Despite these three clubs currently being the main pursuers of McAtee, other teams are waiting in the shadows to see how this transfer saga develops.
Stuttgart hold a strong interest in McAtee, but without Champions League football, the Bundesliga club will struggle to win the race over their German rivals, Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt.
When it comes to English clubs, Everton could be an option for McAtee next season, while Crystal Palace and West Ham are also keen on the Man City star.
Whoever lands the 22-year-old will be getting an “exceptional guy”, who has a “special talent”, Guardiola said about the midfielder after Man City’s match with Salford last season
McAtee needs a club that will help him develop effectively, and at present, it may be hard for him to look past the two German clubs with Champions League football.
