Manchester City and Arsenal are reportedly far apart over Joao Cancelo at the moment.
The Gunners want to sign the Portugal international this summer, as the seek to try and close the gap between themselves and City.

It has been reported that City are keen to sell the 29-year-old.
He has just finished a loan spell at Bayern Munich, who are opting not to exercise the buy option they had on him.
But City will entertain permanent offers for him – and Arsenal have expressed interest. But at the moment, it would appear that Arsenal are not close to paying what City are looking for.
Speaking on Sky Sports News this evening, reporter Dharmesh Sheth said: “The early suggestions are, there is a gap in valuation in early, verbal talks between the two clubs, about what Manchester City would want, and what Arsenal would be prepared to offer. Arsenal are looking to be very ambitious this summer.”
There were no actual figures offered by Sheth, both for what Arsenal are currently offering and how much City want.
Previously, it was suggested that City would take around £35 million for Cancelo, who signed for City for a reported £60 million.

The player has two years left on his contract.
If City are to sell Cancelo to Arsenal, they are going to want a fair whack.
Especially because Cancelo is a top-class player who could really improve the Gunners and theoretically help them to getting closer to City.
Manchester City must demand a top fee from Arsenal to sell Joao Cancelo
City must not be tempted to do Arsenal any favours over Cancelo.
Just because they want a sale, doesn’t mean they should let him leave for less than his true value.
He’s got two years left on his contract and Arsenal are a league rival. So City need to ensure fair compensation.

Ideally City would not be entertaining interest from the Gunners, and Cancelo would be sold to a club overseas. It was suggested last week that the player would actually prefer to move abroad.
But with Arsenal looking to be ‘very ambitious’ this summer, maybe they will eventually stump up a big fee that City won’t be able to refuse.
