Manchester City are reportedly considering a move for Jeremy Doku – and Kevin De Bruyne has already spoken highly of the player.
City are still searching for a replacement for Riyad Mahrez.
The Algerian winger left the club to join Al Ahli, and City are taking a look at the market right now.
Michael Olise is thought to be the club’s preferred option.
But Crystal Palace could dig their heels in. Chelsea are also thought to be very keen on him.
But it was reported today that Doku could be someone City move for.
And he already has the seal of approval from Etihad maestro De Bruyne…
Kevin De Bruyne has already talked up the potential of Jeremy Doku
Mahrez was a superb player for City.

There are some big boots to fill on that right wing, but Doku is seemingly someone who might be up to the task.
He is someone who has already caught De Bruyne’s eye.
De Bruyne has played with Doku in the Belgium national team, and he’s said of him.
Speaking after Belgium’s Nations League win over Iceland in 2020, he said: “He is nimble, fast and he can dribble. Of course, he sometimes makes a mistake, but who doesn’t? He is a diamond in the rough.”
Doku looks to be a very promising young player
To get the seal of approval from De Bruyne would strongly suggest you have something about you.
It will be interesting to see if City do make a move for Doku this month.
The narrative at the moment seems to be that Olise is the top target.

But it has also been suggested that City will not break the bank for the 21-year-old.
Doku would likely be a cheaper alternative for City, but the main thing is that Pep Guardiola believes he can play in this team.
