Brentford goalscorer Ivan Toney has lavished praise on to Manchester City frontman Erling Haaland.
In an interview with Kick Game, the England international spoke about the £51.2 million (Sky Sports) alongside Harry Kane as the best strikers in the Premier League.

Branded as ‘very intelligent’ by Pep Guardiola himself via FIFPro, the 22-year-old had an outstanding campaign, breaking the Premier League goal record whilst scoring a total of 52 goals in 53 games across all competitions.
So much so that the Norwegian striker, alongside Lionel Messi is the odds-on favourite to win the Ballon d’Or and rightfully so.
Ivan Toney was full of praises for Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland, as he recognized the class that he possesses, saying, “They’re different breed, them man. Kane, Haaland, you see these guys score goals, week in, week out. It’s different.”
“But 20 goals. I should have got more! It sounds crazy, but that’s how I’m feeling.”

While Erling Haaland has somehow had a lot of critics this season despite having one of the best individual campaigns we have ever seen, it is telling that a top player like Ivan Toney holds him in such high regard.
Even Alphonso Davies tipped his hat to the former Borussia Dortmund talisman, saying that he is destined to become a ‘legend of the game.’
Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois also recognised the youngster as one of the ‘stars of football.’
It is telling that while certain ex-players and fans constantly pinpoint Haaland’s flaws and have done so this season, those within the game are in awe of him.
