Micah Richards said earlier today that he feels Manchester City winger Jack Grealish is ‘disrespected’.
The England international was a focus ahead of today’s game at Old Trafford.
He was handed a start by Pep Guardiola, which raised the eyebrows of some because of the recent form of Jeremy Doku.
Summer signing Doku has come in and really impressed many City fans.
The youngster has lit games up with his pace and dribbling, and many enjoy his direct style.
He’s regularly come in for praise from Pep Guardiola, and some felt he might have started today.
But Grealish got the nod – and his inclusion in the starting XI was absolutely justified in the end.
And his performance likely will have pleased Richards, who spoke about the 28-year-old just before the game…
Micah Richards believes Manchester City winger Jack Grealish is disrespected
Richards appeared on Sky Sports as a pundit earlier today.

He was talking about a few City players ahead of the game, and he spoke about Grealish and the fact he was picked to start today over Doku.
It was a decision he backed straight away.
He said: “There’s this debate going on online, with Doku being more direct and being ‘more effective’. But for the freedom they want to play with in midfield, I just think Jack is the right man for this game.
“We know Manchester United are going to sit deeper and Man City are going to have more of the ball. I think he’s a little bit disrespected. This is a guy that just won the Treble last season, and played in all the big games!”
Grealish superb today vs Man United
Perhaps Grealish was a tad fortunate to start today, given Doku has been brilliant lately.
But no one can deny how good he was today, and he fully justified his selection.
He linked up with everyone so well, and Diogo Dalot never got a grip of him.
Hopefully, he can build on this performance. Maybe, with Doku breathing down his neck, he will do.
