Well, a number of Manchester City fans on social media are excited by this rumour.
BILD believe Manchester City are keen to bring Simons to the Etihad Stadium if RB Leipzig fail to turn his loan spell into a permanent deal in 2024.
The Netherlands international has impressed on loan at the Red Bull Arena with three goals and four assists in seven Bundesliga appearances so far this season.
As a result, the Citizens – and also Real Madrid – have taken notice of Simons, with Guardiola keen on a deal for the Dutchman if PSG express a willingness to sell.
One Manchester City fan claimed that the 20-year-old would “slot in perfectly” in a No.10 role at the Etihad Stadium.
Another simply demanded that Manchester City “SIGN HIM” – clearly, this particular supporter does not want to miss out on Simons.

One demanded that Guardiola signs Bayer Leverkusen No.10 Florian Wirtz instead of Simons.
Another fan claimed that the PSG wonderkid is nowhere near as good as Kevin De Bruyne – suggesting that they don’t think Manchester City should sign him.
