Erling Haaland has said that he would pick Manchester City teammate Ederson Moraes to take a penalty to save his life.
In a Q&A with Jack Grealish for Optus Sport, the Norwegian superstar did not hesitate before opting for the £35 million (GOAL) man.
Now, Erling Haaland has said that Ederson would be automatic choice out of any player at Manchester City to take a penalty to rescue him from the brink of death.

Branded as ‘elite’ by the Premier League itself, the 30-year-old has often backed himself to take one hell of a spot-kick.
So much so that in the build-up to the Champions League final in June, the Brazilian shotstopper admitted that he was ‘ready’ to do the business from 12 yards out during a shootout.
It seems like Erling Haaland has as much confidence in Ederson as he does in himself if tasked to take a penalty.
“Easy. Ederson. Easy. He would just smash it!”, he said.

While some may be surprised by the answer, Erling Haaland must be well aware of how excellent Ederson is technically.
Both as a passer and in terms of his shooting, there are not many better goalkeepers than the former Benfica No.1 in the game.
To add to that, Ederson is rightly known for his ice-cold demeanour on the ball, which perhaps stems from how much he backs his skillset.
Taking all these factors into consideration, the five-time Premier League winner would be a splendid penalty taker.
Often, Ederson has been spotted taking penalties in training and it’s fair to say that the goalkeeper in net had no chance of saving any, which shows that his self-belief is far from baseless.
