Manchester City have a significant number of top-level players in their squad.
Having won four Premier League trophies in a row, as well as seeing several players win numerous individual awards, it’s undeniable that City have some of the best players in the world at the Etihad Stadium.
Now that many of the names from City’s squad are or have been involved in this summer’s international tournaments, one Premier League star, who is also currently representing his country, has shared his admiration for one of the players from the Manchester club he’s now sharing the dressing room with.

Eberechi Eze says he really likes playing with Phil Foden
Featuring in a recent livestream shared on the England YouTube channel, Eberechi Eze was asked to name which players in the Three Lions squad he likes to play alongside.
He said: “The first one I would say, I was speaking to Luke Shaw the other day. I haven’t played with him, but in training just seeing how he plays, I can tell that he is someone I would enjoy playing with.
“Just his mindset, you know what he is on, you know that he is attacking, brave. I would probably say him.
“The second one is Phil [Foden]. Phil, man, he is a clean guy, man. I can tell that he is on the same wavelength as well, he enjoys the ball, so probably him.”
Foden would be a delight to play alongside for any player
Eze, who Alan Pardew said last month is a more dynamic player than Jack Grealish, and Foden have played together for England on four occasions prior to the Switzerland match, the first occasion being in a U21 game against the Netherlands back in the 2019/20 season.
In the current tournament, the duo have only been on the pitch together for six minutes during the 2-1 win over Slovakia in the knockout stage of the tournament.
Taking into account how the two players both ended their previous individual Premier League campaigns with the highest total of key passes played in their respective squads, with Foden making 73 and Eze making 54, it’s hard to deny that the prospect of the pair playing in the same side together is a mouth-watering one.
