Gabriel Jesus has now spoken about what happened between him and Ederson as Manchester City and Arsenal clashed on Sunday.
The pair of Brazilians came to blows in the dying stages of Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium last week.
So, what did Gabriel Jesus say about Ederson? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the Arsenal No.9 has brushed his clash with the Manchester City No.31 under the carpet.
As quoted by the Evening Standard, Jesus said: “Ederson and I spent a lot of time together at City and we were very happy. He knows how fond I am of him and I also know how fond he is of me.
“But, on the pitch, he defends his team and I defend mine. It was a moment when we were winning and it’s not easy to beat them. We were winning and I held the ball there. Anyway, he ended up giving me a push, but afterwards everything was normal. We came together talking. That’s it.”

By the sounds of it, the situation is water under the bridge for both of the South American duo.
It is good to see that Jesus and Ederson can maintain a bit of competitive fight and still understand that whatever happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch.
Manchester City should not worry about Arsenal defeat
While some dramatic Manchester City fans are already doubting the chances of another Premier League title this season, there is still a long way to go.

The Citizens are only two points off the top, and Pep Guardiola’s side usually tend to grow stronger as the campaign goes on.
Therefore, we do not believe Sunday’s narrow defeat is anything to worry about as far as Manchester City should be concerned – there is plenty of time to move out of third place and back to the summit.
