If Haaland was allowed to pick players he has played with or even watched in a City shirt, he would have assembled an elite side, considering a whole host of them have shown that they have the technical mastery to boss five-a-side games.
The 23-year-old did name Ederson Moraes as his ideal goalkeeper for such a type of game, however.

The Manchester City striker opted for legends of the game, who would walk into most such teams anyway.

“That’s difficult because it’s so many. I think I need to take a couple of Brazilians then. I would like to see Ronaldinho, [Lionel] Messi, Cristiano [Ronaldo, [Paolo] Maldini to be back there, then I need a ‘keeper, no?”, he said on The Official Man City Podcast (via YouTube).
“I would love Ederson because Ederson in these five-a-side games, if he is able to shoot, he would score 15 goals! A ‘keeper, I would take [Iker] Casillas.”

If the five-a-side format was scrapped and Erling Haaland was added as the sixth member of this team, it is safe to presume that he would cause mayhem.
With legendary creators like Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho and Cristiano Ronaldo playing behind the Norwegian, he would score goals for fun.
As Iker Casillas and Paolo Maldini will provide the side protection at the back as well, Erling Haaland would have the license to stay up front and put the ball in the back of the net.
By the time Haaland retires, several fans, pundits and players in the future could well name him as a part of such teams, considering the career he could have if he continues to progress the way he does season after season.
The Leeds-born goalscorer is destined for greatness and perhaps one day, he could rival players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho as one of the best players to have ever graced the game as well.
