Erling Haaland would have undergone a rollercoaster of emotions after Manchester City’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Sunday.
Haaland silenced critics like John Obi Mikel — who claimed he is not a big-game player and challenged the star striker to get on the scoresheet against Mikel Arteta’s side.
The £375,000-a-week man put City into the lead as early as in the ninth minute of the contest.
But ultimately, while Haaland was also visibly over the moon to see John Stones’ late strike beat David Raya, he would have liked for City to win the game.
Furthermore, the second half would have been a frustrating one for the Manchester City goalscorer.
The Sky Blues’ service was far from satisfactory to say the least.

Man City superstar makes Premier League history against Arsenal
Carving chances out against a 10-man Arsenal side who had set up as defensively as they did is easier said than done.
But simultaneously, Haaland was handed the challenge of simply waiting inside a packed box for a chance.
But several of his teammates took unconvincing potshots from distance or put in poor crosses for the Norwegian to try direct past Raya.
There was one moment where the 24-year-old got close to scoring but the Spanish goalkeeper made a terrific save.
But barring that moment, the Leeds-born phenomenon was kept quiet by the visitors in the second half at the Etihad Stadium.
However, with his latest strike, Haaland became the first player in Premier League history to score 10 goals in the first five games of the season — as per BBC Sport.
What Erling Haaland is doing at Man City should not be viewed as standard
Considering the standards Haaland has set during his time in a Manchester City shirt, it is natural for fans and players alike to expect him to set new records.
However, the two-time Premier League winner’s brilliance should be fairly lauded for being otherworldly as he continues to make a case for surpassing some of the greatest strikers to have played in England.
So far, Haaland is scoring two goals per game in the league this campaign.
For any number nine to be as prolific as the Manchester City hero is in any era would be considered legendary.
Even for Haaland’s standards, the rate at which he is scoring goals is unlike what has been the case in the past; a reality that should frighten European football.
