Manchester City are intent on strengthening their ranks this summer so they can quickly get back to the top of English and European football.
Tijjani Reijnders has already agreed a move to the Etihad Stadium, and the likes of Rayan Cherki and Rayan Ait-Nouri are also in City’s sights.
In addition, other players are being linked with City, such as Tino Livramento. Bradley Barcola is also said to be in City’s sights.
Reijnders is set to become Manchester City’s first signing, and transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has now provided a breakdown of the deal.

Manchester City set to pay an initial £48million for Tijjani Reijnders ahead of ‘easy’ and ‘difficult’ add-ons
Romano took to X on Wednesday night to claim that City are set to pay an initial €57million (£48million) to sign Reijnders from AC Milan.
The Italian then said “easy add-ons” could see the deal go up to €65million (£54.8million), while “difficult add-ons” would take it to €70million (£59million).
What Tijjani Reijnders has already said about prospective Manchester City move
Reijnders is currently on international duty with the Netherlands, who are in World Cup qualifying action against Finland and Malta this month.
The Dutchman spoke to Voetbal International as he gave his thoughts on a prospective move to the Etihad Stadium.
“The clubs are still in talks,” he said, as per Goal.com. “For me, it’s a waiting game now. I myself have been involved very little. My father does that.
“The Premier League is of course a great competition, that’s what you dream of as a little boy. I haven’t had any contact with Guardiola yet, that’s not on the agenda yet.”
The Netherlands are yet to start their World Cup qualifying campaign, but there will be high hopes for them, and Reijnders will hope to shine.
“Tijjani is a super-complete midfielder with acceleration,” Ronald Koeman previously said of Reijnders, as per MilanNews.
