It has been reported that the City Football Group (CFG) are interested in signing Gui Ruck.
This comes from Fabrizio Romano in his latest Transfer Q&A on Kick after he detailed how several clubs are interested in signing the Real Valladolid starlet.
Fabrizio Romano says City Football Group are “pushing” to sign Gui Ruck
The 2009-born wonderkid seems to be one of the best up-and-coming young players in world football.
A creative midfielder by trade, Ruck has impressed since joining Valladolid’s academy last season.
Now, it seems like Gui Ruck has made an impression on the City Football Group as well as several elite clubs in Europe.
“The same also for City Group, congratulations in general to City Group for what they’re doing because after the treble with Man City to see Girona on top of the league in La Liga is special, so credits to the City Group. They keep recruiting players, they keep working hard on the future talents”, Fabrizio Romano said on Kick.
He added, “And so, City Group, PSG but Real Madrid, all pushing, all exploring to get a move for Guilherme Ruck.”
The City Football Group could benefit Manchester City in the future by signing him
While Gui Ruck seems to be a target for the City Football Group, if he decides to sign for one of their clubs and emerges as a future superstar, perhaps Manchester City could get their hands on him one day.
Until now, players that CFG sign join clubs such as Girona and Troyes to name a few and while a lot of them exhibit their talent, not a single name has gone on to become a first-team player at City.
However, with how much potential Gui Ruck has, he could well make his way to Manchester City one day if the move goes through in the first place.
If the deal is sealed, it would be practical for CFG to make sure that Ruck plays for another one of their other sides to ensure he is allowed to develop without the pressure of making the grade for City one day.
It is worth emphasising that the City Football Group are relentless when it comes to scouring the world for the finest emerging talent and this is why Girona, for instance, are dominating La Liga this season.
