Joao Cancelo has posted on Instagram, as fans await pictures of him in pre-season training with his Manchester City teammates.
The 29-year-old’s future is currently the subject of speculation, after he left the club on loan back in January.
Cancelo was reportedly unhappy with his game time.
There were suggestions that the player was threatening to disrupt the harmony in the dressing room.
As a result, City sanctioned a loan move to Bayern Munich for him.
Pep Guardiola would then change his side to a back three, with John Stones dropping back in to make it a four when out of possession, which turned out to be a masterstroke.
Cancelo went and won the Bundesliga with Bayern. But he did miss out on winning a Treble with City.

This afternoon, Cancelo has posted on Instagram of him doing some training.
He’s uploaded a video to his Instagram page – but it is not of him with his City teammates.
It is a video from recently with a few of his Portugal teammates like Bruno Fernandes and Rafael Leao.
At the end of the video, a graphic of Apex Football Performance flashes up.
Cancelo provided the somewhat cryptic caption with the upload ‘Believe in yourself and forget the rest. Pre-season.’ He then tagged Apex Football Performance.
Last week, they uploaded some pictures of Cancelo from the same session. The location for the post is set at ‘Vilamoura’.
Cancelo situation will be fascinating to watch unfold
There have been some whispers on social media that Cancelo has in fact returned to pre-season training at City.
The players trained on Monday and were back in today, before they fly to Asia tomorrow.
As yet, the club have not published any pictures or videos from these sessions.
Fans are really curious to see if Cancelo has actually resumed training with his City teammates, especially given everything that has been written.
Who knows if there is a meaning behind Cancelo choosing to upload training video of him and his Portugal teammates.
