TalkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor has given a one-word verdict on the performance of Nathan Ake for Manchester City against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
Manchester City suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wolverhampton Wanderers today.
City have the better players and the better squad, but Wolves were the better team today.
And, in my view, Wolves deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
Gabby Agbonlahor gives verdict on Nathan Ake for Manchester City vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Not many City players did well, and one player former Aston Villa striker and talkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor think was “poor” is Nathan Ake.
Agbonlahor said on talkSPORT (5:48pm, September 30, 2023): “Ake was poor.”

I agree with Agbonlahor.
In my view, Ake had one of his worst games for City in recent times.
The defender is usually very good at stopping right wingers.
But, Pedro Neto did so well against him.
Ake was caught oout for the first goal that Wolves scored.
The defender could have done better for the second goal that the Wanderers scored.
Manchester City will bounce back
I am confident that Manchester City will bounce back.
Manager Pep Guardiola will make sure of that.
City lost to Newcastle United in the EFL Cup in midweek, and today they went down to Wolves.
The Citizens will face RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, and then next week it is Arsenal in the Premier League.
I believe that City will win against Leipzig and then make it really hard for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
City are still at the top of the Premier League table, and, in my opinion, the defending champions are still the favourites to win the title this season.
