Jack Grealish has named two players when asked who he shared a bromance with at Manchester City before Erling Haaland arrived.
The 28-year-old made the comments when speaking to the Premier League.
So, who was Jack Grealish closest to before Erling Haaland arrived at Manchester City? Let’s take a look…
Who Grealish shared bromance with before Haaland arrived
Well, the England international mainly sat on the fence after being asked this question – although he did briefly name Bernardo Silva and Ruben Dias.
Grealish said: “I actually love everyone in the team and I get on so well with them. There are a few in there who you probably wouldn’t expect me to… be close with. People like Bernardo – for example – Ruben. We have a great team.”

Regardless of how close the Manchester City No.10 was to the Portuguese duo, Haaland has clearly taken over as the £100m man’s closest teammate since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.
Manchester City even released a special video highlighting the pair’s relationship – to emphasise just how inseparable they have become at the Etihad Stadium.
How Haaland and Grealish have combined at Manchester City
Grealish and Haaland are clearly close off the field – and their bond is also apparent on the pitch.
In 54 appearances alongside each other for Manchester City, the pair have only lost five times – while also combining to score six goals.
Haaland has provided one assist for Grealish – who also named Silva as his funniest teammate – while the England international has assisted five goals for the Norwegian.

Manchester City have impressively averaged 2.46 points per game from these 54 matches, while – of course – winning a historic treble in Haaland’s first campaign at the Etihad Stadium last season.
With the Norway international now back to full fitness, we cannot wait to see him and Grealish linking up in attack once again.
